POTTERY FORMS

Pottery forms have been around since the beginning of time.

Archeologists use pottery shards to reconstruct a story of civilizations long gone. Amazingly, though there is no credible evidence of commercial or cultural interaction among some of these ancient peoples, their pottery shapes and forms bear a striking similarity!

The human eye knows beauty - regardless of time and location.

Using these classic forms, I have ventured into new techniques, including colored dye applications, pyrography, metal leaf application and the inclusion of multiple wood species.

Each has it's own unique story.
